Cam Morris:

Design, Research, Creative Technologist

Yo! I'm Cam – my friends call me Chaka, hence the name of the site.

I'm a designer, researcher, technologist, and occasional writer and photographer interested in technology, subculture, art, and community (and the blending of all of those), based in Harlem in NYC by way of Philadelphia (and second-gen Ivorian-American 🐘, by way of Abidjan.)

I was most recently at IBM Research as a Digital Designer in New York. Before that, I spent time at Little Giant Creative and the Center for Emerging Visual Artists in Philadelphia as well as Four Corners Film in London. I count myself as part of Trust and the School For Poetic Computation as well.

I’m available for work - you’re interested in learning more about me and what I do (or just want to look at something more interesting than a black screen), check out some of my work, drop me a line via email and say hello.
